Best Sound bar for dynamic compression

We watch all our movies streamed to our TV from a KDlinks box and external hard drive. We've converted all our DVD's to mp4 files using AAC compression. We want to get a soundbar that will allow some type of dynamic compression so that we don't have to crank it all up for the dialog and then get blasted when their is an action scene or music. I'm not much of a sound techie but would like some recommendations here.:\

I've not seen any speakers that have dynamic range compression built in, but I suppose it's not impossible.

Is there no option for it in the box itself?

Usually if you were streaming from a computer you could apply it in the playback device properties, or soundcard control panel.

There is another method of Dynamic Range Compression that only applies to DTS and Dolby streams. It uses markers in the tracks to balance out the sound so that the dialogue is always heard, whilst reducing the volume of the rest of the speakers.

Because you are using AAC, this method won't work for you. something to watch out for. I was a bit disappointed when I found out this was the only method built in to my receiver, but I get around it by using the windows setting.
