Best song to use to tune your speakers?

As of recently I've switched sound cards and noticed that for some reason my sound on my computer seems a little off tune. A long time ago I used to us a pop/rap/techno something or other song that was really good and worked both speakers very well and allowed me to fiddle with the equalizer controls to get the best sound out of the speakers. Anybody know what songs would be good for this? Thanks.

You could buy one of those demo CDs that they use when they judge car stereo contests.

i think my sounds are pitched higher now with my AC97 audio... it's wierd, as i've adjusted now, but after replacing my mobo and using integrated sound instead of cheapo $20 card from hercules, i definately noticed a difference. i stuck with integrated sound cause my previous card gave me sound problems in battlefield.. ac97 doesn't 😉

Actually, I was thinking about a song that had good vocal, good instramental, but good base at the same time. Something that will rattle the walls and tingle the ears. 🙂

That's what a lot of local stereo places would use to test their installs. It has a bit of everything in it.

I like that song, good vocals, nice instruments...i duno about bass, but its a great well composed song 🙂
