Best solution to extend MCE2005 remote range?

my htpc is downstairs and i would like to be able to control it via media center remote from upstairs...the remote is infrared, what would be the best way to go about this?

product recommendations?

an extra wire wouldn't be a problem...the run would be about 25 feet
