Best solution for at home network setup

I was wondering if someone good make a suggestion as to a possible route for setting up a new work at home.

What I have is a P2 300MHZ computer (Windows 2000/XP) and and P3 667Mhz (Windows 98/2000) and would like to network the two, with the P2 being more a storage computer, but I want both computers to be able to access the internet. Currently only the p3 can access the internet (via a cable modem).

Now I would eventually like both to be running exclusively on Windows XP, but 2000 is more than sufficient for my needs at this time.

Thanks
