Best software to encode files for PS3?

So i can either stream them or play them through my thumb drive...any software thats any good? SUPER took for freaking ever to do anything.

Everyone seems to use TVersity for streaming.

If you want to rip DVDs, Fair Use Wizard. Although now that I think about it, I'm not sure why you'd do that unless you're too lazy to put the DVD in the tray. :p Which I am. :(

I do it for three reasons:
1) Ease of use - Just turn the console/HTPC on and you've got your library right there.
2) Storage - Finding a place to hold my DVD collection in this house was a PITA.
3) DVD safe-keeping - My son was pretty good about holding DVDs even when he was 1-2 years old. My daughter however is a little hellion and likes to take discs and run around the house with them. I caught her 'skating' across the kitchen floor one time with a pair of discs that she got her hands on somehow.
