Hi, looking for software that make it easy for me to pick tracks i like and burn to a new cd, Anyone know of something thats free?? or worth paying for??

Another vote for nero, go to their site and i recall (ive owned it for a year so i forget) there is a demo version. Well worth buying.

Yep another vote for Nero. The first thing I did when I got my burner was to give away Roxio CD-Creator 5 that came with it (junk) and get Nero.

Jiffylube.....

Maybe I am spoiled by the ease of EasyCD Creator but I just got Nero and I heard all these great things but man it's tough for me to figure out how to use the darn thing.

1) I tried making a backup to my Software CD...it said it was copyrighted...and to Insert a Blank Medium....Well I had a brand new empty CDR sitting in the drive....Whats the deal with that?

2) I think I was able to make a ISO copy but when I go to Windows Explorer to check out the newly burned CD..there's nothing there.

Maybe I just need to spend some time but I thought Nero was the best burning software around and could burn anything including copyprotected stuff but I can't seem to get out of first gear.

what's the deal?

I've never had a problem using Nero and its rock solid too. Seems like Easy CD creator crashes and locks up more than it actually burns anything. I definately reccomend Nero.
