best software for burning cd's (backups) ect.....

Well, I'm gonna have to go with Nero. It is quite powerful though easy to use with the cd create wizard.

CDRWin is okay, though I find some of it complicating. I could figure it out but I don't find any problem with Nero so I have no reason to start playing around with CDRWin.

The best software I have found for "backups" of CDs (vs. backups of data files or music files) is CloneCD. It ignores most/all copy protection. You would have to check the compatability list at [L]http://www.elaboratebytes.com[/L] to see if your reader/recorder would work. I don't recognise the "LG" brand.

Yes I forgot CloneCD for direct cd backups. I tried it about a week ago and it worked great.

So I would say Nero for audio, burning moves, or various files. CloneCD for actual cd backups, say for a backup for your OS.

just put clone-cd on and nero and will probrably use them both as reccomended by eagle-2
cheers chaps for all your input
