SNES had the better graphics but Genesis had the blood. So hard to pick! 😀

So many great games from that era. I really need to set up my HTPC for emulation.

You're thinking MK1. MK2 had blood on SNES. Nintendo learned their lesson awfully quick. A lot of people bought a Genesis for just that reason.

The arcade version was still the best though. That's the one I remember playing. The local pizza joint had one.

Yup, only the SNES MK I had a lack of blood.
But there was a code for red-colored spit, so, yeah.

In any case, you can get the Arcade Kollection on Steam and thats better anyways.

Chrono Trigger, then Final Fantasy III/VI, and Tales of Phantasia.

More people need to play Tales of Phantasia, that game unfortunately wasn't released in the U.S. and was only later translated into English by a fan project.
