Snowballs....Basically a chocolate cake filled with vanilla creme surrounded by marshmallow and then covered with Coconut. It's like sex wrapped in cellophane and I only discovered these wonderful treats after watching Zombieland. The ones in the movie were made by Hostess and spelled Sno-Balls but I found that the cakes sold at the Walmart Bakery were fluffier and tastier.

Christmas Tree Cakes are my favorite. Sadly they are only available once a year. :(

Pie>cake.

^^^

And assuming we get transported to some bizzaro world where cake is better than pie, those disgusting SnoBalls aren't even a contender. They're so far from first, they might as well be Brussels sprouts. A solid contender for first are butterscotch Krimpets. If not that, it's certainly peanutbutter KandyKakes.

Butterscotch!! Puke, I can't stand butterscotch anything....not sure that I've ever had the KandyKakes and I do love peanut butter so I might have to look those up in a couple weeks after I get all this sugar out of my system. I bought a 12 pack of the Snowballs Sunday and I only have 1 left :)

Funny Bones are pretty awesome too. Chocolate coated chocolate cake filled with peanut butter.

But I love coconut, so snowballs = win.

Bleh, snowballs are so damn dry.

Frozen swiss cake rolls for the win.

The Hostess version was a bit dryer than the Wallyworld brand which were very moist and fresh. Frozen swiss cake rolls...never tried them like that but they were tops on my list before I discovered Snowballs.

God I shouldn't have googled the PB KandyKakes. I'm starving now.

Tastykakes are where it's at.

To narrow it down more, I vote for: Peanut Butter Kandy Kakes

eh, if the walmart snowball "cakes" are anything like their swiss cake rolls, I'll pass. That was the nastiest chocolate cake flavor I've ever tasted, and that even includes vegan/gluten/dairy free cakes (as in not real chocolate, not wheat-based cake).

Little Debbie ftw.

Oh forgot... moonpies ftw.

Moonpies are an odd beast. The texture of the dry cake/cookie things ruins what should be a delightful experience.

Most of those Little Debbie and similar snacks are disgusting.

My history teacher used to go on about how back in the day the Hostess Cupcakes used to be filled with real cream and not the pasty concoction they put in them now. Kind of makes me wish I could have tried them too.
