best slots for DC on DFI- SLI-DR

The short answer is the orange slots (the 2nd and fourth from the top).

I heard yellow in one place and extremesystems recommended ORANGE slots

Try both. Boot into memtest86 and check for errors while overclocking. It will quickly become very clear which slots work better for your ram.

thanks...I was just hoping to avoid stabiltiy isue when getting up and running ...

I purchased some OCZ gold pc3200....hopefully they will work ok in slots 2/4...


now the painful waiting..till 8/4 for newegg delivery

I always hear everyone say..wow ...it delivered early..Fedex never does this for me

I have 2x512mb OCZ EL PC3200 in the orange slots on my DFI nf4 and haven't had one memory related problem.

I was just reading at OCZ support forum that the BH5 memory chips should be in the yellow slots for higher voltage...hmm...I am not going to go over 3.2v ..so I will try orange first
