Making it sound like some near-impossible feat isn't helping anyone either. Never having done something before isn't really a good reason not to at least try IMHO. Who knows, you might even learn something!
I never said or made it sound like an almost impossible task. And you make it sound like, "oh,at least give it a try, you might learn something". You might also end up with an expensive batch of computer parts that you cannot use.
I might have that attitude about putting together a bike or assembling a lawn mower or BBQ grill, or something else in the 100.00 price range, but I do not have such a cavilair attitude about 1000.00 worth of computer parts.
