Best single slot PhysX card?

Hey guys, any idea which of these would be the best dedicated PhysX card?

9800GT DDR3 512GB
GT240 DDR3 512GB

maybe a Quadro card of somekind?

Any other suggestions welcome, thanks in advance.

so you draw the line at having a slightly more power hungry card for physx but don't mind buying an extra card for physx in the first place? lol. not to mention that it will only consume that extra power when playing the 2 or 3 games that you probably own that actually even use hardware physx. what does the rest of your system look like since mother earth is so important??? 😛

Lol IDGAS about mother earth really, just joking, I'm running low on cables that I can run from my PSU so Ideally I'd go for something without external power. 🙂

well out of curiosity what does the rest of your pc look like though? a gt240 may be just fine but it really depends on what you are using for a gpu to determine what level of physx card would be best.

that better be one robust 12v rail on that 1000 watt psu because all of that could easily use 850 watts or more under full load. 😱

Yeah I'm thinking of down grading from a 5970 to another 5870 as it's just more of a pain than it's worth tbh
