Best shipping method for international packages?

I recently had 2 items for sale on ebay and they ended up going to foreign countries. One is a motherboard (Guatemala) and a DVD player (Canada) and I really do NOT want to get raped on shipping.

Basically I just need to know who has the best international shipping rates? DHL, UPS, FedEx, or USPS?

do not use UPS for Canada because the buyer may get ripped off on brokerage fees

That's what I assumed. I was originally planning on using USPS for international shipping. I will get delivery confirmation.
