Best settings for highest security in Norton Internet Security 2003 w/o affecting browsing

can anyone give me a rough idea on what settings should be enabled to perform this operation? I would like only a few apps to use the internet...such as my browser, opera, flashget and kazaa lite.

The max security makes it almost impossible to use.

I compromised on the middle for the general setting, and then manually changed few things for more security or less security as it fits my style of using the Internet.

No matter what you will have to configure ports for applications like the ones that you mentioned.
