Best servers to buy for 3d rendering

:\I am interested to set-up small 3d rendering farm , those servers need to be power efficient and 24*7 online .one of my friend suggest me 500 PPI (processing performance index) for starting point with 48 gb ram per node , your help will be appreciated , thanks
