Best Seinfeld episodes

Never did understand the popularity of the show. It always seemed stupid...with terrible acting. To this day, I still don’t care for most of the cast.

lemme guess, you're more of a gilligan's island kind of guy?

i think that seinfeld has aged the best of any sitcom

Can't say I particularly care for any of the cast, individually. Seinfeld as standup is too rich and slick for my taste. None of the others (cast, I mean, not Larry David) have done anything much worth noting since then either, and Michael Richards...least said the better.

But I still thought the show was great (at least, at the time). Didn't like Larry Sanders as much (too specific a target, I suppose, I'm not very interested in the sort of late chat show it was mocking), and I can't remember liking any other TV comedy of that time at all (Friends gave me a headache, Seinfeld stood way above that).

Nah...not much of a fan of ANY US comedy show. Most of them are stupid...and if it wasn't for the canned laugh tracks, most people wouldn't know when they're supposed to laugh... 😛

Possibly the best comedy show I've ever seen is Doc Martin. The first 6 seasons are available on Netflix...

British show...most of which aren't usually very good...and the slang and accents can be difficult to follow sometimes, but overall...FUCKING HILARIOUS show...

(Are the Cornish people the British version of West Virginia hillbillies?) 😀

Uh, Julia Louie Dreyfus?

Bryan Cranston?

Patrick Warburton?

Also, Larry David was "in the cast." Remember Steinbrenner?

Are you master of your domain?

Yeah, I guess so, but I haven't seen any of his pre-Seinfeld work, and it really seems like he has a few problems (whether with booze or mental health or racism I don't know).

He just snapped the one time, which pretty much every comedian he does. Check out the episode of Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars with Michael Richards. He seems like a pretty regular guy, utterly wrecked by that event, though.

I give you that last point - but you never saw his face (though at that time I didn't know what he looked like anyway). Curb was excellent too, though it eventually got a bit tired for me, wouldn't say it got actively bad, I just lost interest after so many seasons.

Don't think of those middle-two as regulars. And, nothing actually _against_ JLD or the other regulars, but I can't say I've especially noticed them in anything else.

Uh, that little Veep show? Louis-Dreyfus has actually done some great stuff since Seinfeld, just short-lived. New Adventures of Christine was actually pretty good, but no one watched it.

Not that I don't get it--I find it hard to watch Sitcoms in general. The format is just so...grating. Seinfeld though, absolutely brilliant. Can't get enough of that show no matter how many times I've watched it.

The show was good but rarely did I Laugh Out Loud.

The only thing that made me blow air thru my nose fast was Elaine ripping that god damn wig off George and throwing it out the fucking window.

"I HATE THIS THING!!!!!"

Fuckin brilliant.

For me the brilliance of the writing, the laying of threads, seemingly unrelated. getting tied into a bow in the last scene of an episode bespoke genius.

anything with jackie chiles

kramer hosts japanes investors for the yankees?
jean-paul stays with jerry for the big race. george goes out with higher-ups in the yankees org.
