If you have wrecked your credit, don't you need to get a secure card inorder to start repairing the damage?

Considering most "Uncle Bo's County Bank" don't even offer credit cards....

The National City secured card reports as unsecured, and can be opened with as little as $250. Almost impossible to get denied for it.

Bank of America's secured card has been known to decline some people, and it reports as secured.

Citibank offers a secured card as well, minimum deposit $200, but it's quite the mysterious item.

glen I got a secured CC from orchardbank a few months ago. The minimum deposit limit is $200, and the yearly fee is $35 I think. I pay off my balance every month so I don't care about interest rates.
