Best SCSI Drive?

What is considered the best 10K RPM SCSI drive? Both Seagate and Quantum have some good models but are there any others worth considering?
 
AFAIK, the Quantum Atlas 10K II is the fastest 10K rpm drrive you can get your paws on. If you're looking for the very fastest, go with the Seagate Cheetah X15. However, the performance difference should not be apparent under normal use.

The Atlas 10KII eaks out the Seagate Cheetah in benchmarks, but you would be hard pressed to tell the difference. Just get the one you can find for less. IBM is not in the league of Quantum and Seagate for SCSI performance drives.

The Atlas 10k III isn't supposed to be released until March or April. Don't wait for it.
 
Well, we usually use IBM drives for hi-end machines. I haven't had the pleasure with Seagates or Quantums (only a couple times). I guees every says Quantum, GO QUANTUM!!
 
Sounds like the Quantum II is the top dawg. Whats the 10K III offer? I would have expected a 15K drive for the next generation.

The X15 doesnt have enough capacity but otherwise would be great.
