online MBA courses are waste of money, do an executive MBA if anything

Don't you live near by a B&M school?

That's how I did it. Company paid for it (100% of everything) as long as I made B average (you have to in grad school or they would kicked you out).

If you have to do it online, do some research and make sure it is accredited. Too many horror stories about papermills/worthless diplomas.

I see an online MBA program providing a very limited education. So, much of my experience was learning thru discussion, team projects, presentations and networking.

For whatever reason, Lockheed Martin will not pay for an "Executive MBA" program. Although there is a decent B&M school in town, it's geared towards engineering. I'm an engineer, but I want to diversify.

As for online programs, I wasn't thinking "college-in-PJs.com", but something more like Wharton School of Business... I'd think there is a school out there somewhere with a good name that specializes in online excellence. That's the type of place I'm targeting... Just putting my feet in the water now to research...

Where do you live? I know there's a Lockheed Martin in Colorado and if so are you referring to the Colorado School of Mines?

I wouldn't recommend an online MBA program, just doesn't sound right and like others said a lot of the learning is done in teams which is hour business is done.
