Best scanning software

Just bought an HP scanner and the software is not good. What has your experiecne? Using for images prinarily and some text.

For text (document management), PaperPort Deluxe 8.0 is indispensable.

Omnipage Pro works good for text, I use the cannon software that came with my 650u and it works great. Never used any type of aftermarket software.
