Best scanner for photos?

My family is doing a project. Scanning in old photos. My nod goes to the EPson 1240U. Anything better? Thanks

Nope, the Epson Perfection 1240U is arguably the best consumer scanner on the market.

I'm not sure what the differences are between this model and the 1250 but you could get the 1250 for $79.98 from Staples.com as described in my post here.
