Best Sales before/after Christmas?

I'm thinking of doing some significant upgrades to my system, (a high end videocard or two, and several SSDs.)

Do the best online sales tend to occur right after Christmas, or right before? Or is it anyone's guess? Neither Fry's nor Microcenter are options, as I live in Canada.

Keep an eye out for deals. newegg.ca recently had a GTX 460 for $120AR; tigerdirect.ca also had a similar deal. I would be very surprised to see a better deal than that on boxing day.

Boxing Day is too crazy. You run the risk of getting nothing at all if you wait. I find that most of the stuff that is discounted on Boxing Day is second-rate; it's basically all the stuff that other people didn't want.

NCIX recently had the combo deal that I jumped on; I got a Phenom II X4 and a motherboard for $140.

I think things generally tend to rise in price around Christmas... then drop off after christmas. Best deals are usually a month or two after it :)
