BEST s939 OC'ing mobo? -- That suppports AGP

Are you sure your not looking at your vcore? DDR default is 2.5 volts like Budman said. I've never seen any BIOS settings that let you undervolt your RAM.
 
i have the av8 and the 2.8v for the memory runs just fine
however this board is known to have some issues with certain types of memory, specifically that the detected cas speed is lower than what it can handle
eg. if the ram is rated cas 2.5, and you set it to auto it crashes unless you specifically set it to cas 2.5 or even 3 ---


edit: and yeah, setting your vcore to 1.8v will cause your system to CRASH for sure -- unless of course you're using a vapochill, but thats another story
 
as much as i like my a8v, its got to be the Epox 9NDA3+ or 9NDA3J (same board, extra features on the +). But the K8N Neo2 Platinum is about on par with it, but given the choice, i would go for the epox.
