The retail fans that came with my Xeons are heat sensitive and they get EXTREMELY loud when a game gets going for a while. The retails do a great job though -- temps are hardly ever over 100F.
But anyway, I'm looking for a good solution to my problem. I'm currently looking at the Swiftech MCX603-V and it looks great, but very expensive ($48 each). Also, if I buy that heatsink, I'll have to buy a fan separately. I was kind of looking at the 2450 rpm panaflo fans and they look great and they are at the right noise level too; 28DB.
