Best running sitcom?

What's your favorite current sitcom? I realised that I don't watch television anymore because I don't find any interesting shows. I used to watch Family Matters and The Simpsons right after school when I was younger but other than that I never really watched teleseries... probably because I am french canadian and I don't like most of the french series running on tv right now.

I was wondering... are most of the american sitcoms like Friends, Seinfeld, King of the Queens, etc. airing every week or every day?

I don't know if it's considered a sitcom, as it's not on a network and it has no laugh track, but HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm is the best running comedy show on TV right now. A worthy substitution for Seinfeld.

Raymond - Mondays
Frasier - Tuesdays
Ed - Wednesdays
West Wing - Wednesdays
Friends - Thursdays
ER - Thursdays
Stuff - Fridays

I only watch West Wing, though not really a sitcom.

Best sitcom still in production = The Simpsons

Best sitcom no longer in production = M*A*S*H* although it wasn't a sitcom in the classic sense.

Agreed, The Simpsons

These are the dark ages of sitcoms. Once greats like Frasier are fading, Friends has always been middle-of-the-road white bread and the current big guns like Raymond and Will&Grace leave me cold. That leaves me with a vote for The Simpsons. Maybe not as good as it once was, but still better than the other crap that spews forth every fall.

Scrubs

Another vote for Scrubs here as far as sitcoms still putting out new episodes. But if we are talking best shown now including reruns then Seinfeld wins.

I will agree with you sir.

Everybody Loves Raymond.
I swear the scripts are stolen from my life.
Especially the sex stuff.

Well The Simpsons have always been a favorite and King of the Hill too, but I meant I'd like to watch a sitcom with real actors.
