Hey all,
I think i found the answer to this already but I'd just like some confirmation.
if i pick up a linksys wrt54gl http://www.newegg.com/Product/...x?Item=N82E16833124190 and load it up with hyperWRT I can then use it to act as a bridge (that's the correct term?) so that it will just act as a wireless extension to my existing router?
Basically, i want to stick a router in my living room to hook up the ps3/dvr/wii etc and i want the router to connect wireless to my existing network. I was told a bridge is what i want.
I cant figure out why they cost $100 or more when they sound like a router with less features.
anyhow, please let me know if i have it correct and if that would be the correct firmware and router to get.
thanks
