Hi all...my first post on the network forum!
I have two PC's on my internal LAN, and a DSL connection from Flashcom...I was hoping to use a router (both machines are Win2k btw) to share my internet connection and provide some firewall protection, so I got a Linksys BEFRS11...the sharing worked flawlessly, but when I tried to fire up a Q3 server...no go....the first person could connect just fine, but anyone after that would get disconnected...very frustrating..
Is it my isp or Linksys in particular?...I tried all of the methods listed in the quakeworld forums as well.
Does anyone have success with a hardware router and Dedicated Q3 servers?
Thanks.
