I google those exact words and I've gathered three options:
- ASUS RT-AC3200 Wireless-AC3200 Tri-Band Wireless Gigabit Router, AiProtection with Trend Micro for Complete Network Security = $300
- D-Link AC3150 Dual Band Wireless Gigabit Ultra WiFi Router with MU-MIMO and 1.4GHz Dual Core Processor (DIR-885L/R) = $200
- Linksys AC1900 Dual Band Wireless Router (Max Stream EA7500) = $150

Currently, I'm using a WiFi router provided by my internet provider. They refuse to let me modify modem settings (and I can't open some ports) so since I'm spending money in buying a router I want something cool.
Mainly use is gaming, I wanted to start a few servers of Rust and others video games (just testing purposes nothing heavy). Once in a while, I do some streaming (1080p). Downloading movies and stuff, of course.

What would you recommend me?
Thanks!

I think that you're in for a rude awakening, as far as "opening ports" goes. If your ISP wants them closed, then they're either going to close them, in the modem config file (which they have access to, BUT YOU DON'T), or they will block them using active IP filtering on their routers, before it ever gets to your modem (less likely, more efficient to do it on the CPE).

So unless you run hacked firmware on your modem (which in the USA is grounds for "Theft of Services" - a serious crime), you won't likely be able to do what you want. Better to pay for "business internet", with unlocked ports (to run servers), or switch ISPs.

ive opened ports before, but if you go to portforward.com, they legit have ports opened for specific games. Although im not sure if that opens up potential hack threats. My isp said its possible and they dont recommend it..
it did make the games work though lol.
