I'm buying CDs! Help me compile a "greatest hits" album list.

Here's a few to start -
Neil Young - Decade
U2 - Best of 1980-1990
James Taylor - Greatest Hits Vol. 1
Def Leppard - Vault: Greatest Hits

<< Boston Greatest hits! >>

Or just buy the first album. ;)

How about Rush Chronicles? Skynard's Innards?

To be released, Nov 20th... Smashing Pumpkins- Rotten Apples (their greatest hits album). Its gonna be awesome, especially with the B-sides Judas O CD that is included in a limited number of copies. Head over to CDnow and reserve it ASAP so you can get Judas O. Check out my sig for the new version of saturnine, its awesome!!!

Neither of those are greatest hits albums. However, Allman Brothers - A Decade of Hits 1969-1979 is an amazing compilation.

Cream - The Very Best of Cream

Siva, i love SMashing Pumpkins but I am disappointed that the greatest hits does not include Luna (one of the best songs on Siamese Dream) and Soothe.

Yeah, Luna was a good song, although I would've much rather had mayonaise. I'm so happy Rhinocerous and Drown made it, they are the two best Gish era songs IMO and they truely rock. Of course I'm happy Siva is on it, in fact the only tracks i don't like are The Everlasting Gaze, and to a lesser extent Ava Adore and Perfect. I would've much rather had Crestfallen to represent Adore, and This Time for Machina. Cash Car Star or If There is a God would be nice to see, but hopefully machina 2 will make it to CD one day.

BTW: Drown is the shortened version on the promo... i was hoping the full version would be on it :(
