i've looked at the usual places i normally shop but they're all h/w shops

what place, b&m or on line, has the best selection and prices for graphics progs?

i can't get the education verions since it will be for a small company and we can't afford a site license program since the company is really small

Do a Google search for software dealers. You're in a bit of a tight bind because you are tight on funds, but aren't willing to just fire up Morpheus, do multiple installs and/or illegally getting educational versions. You honesty is comendable. :) (Though I'm sure the l337 h4X0r3Z w4r3z m0nk33z are laughing their llama butts off now.)

Death,

Are you aware of Adobe's Service Provider Program? If your company qualifies, for $600 you get Macintosh and Windows versions of many of their main products. There are other benefits as well. Check it out.

I don't know if MacroMedia has a similar program.
