Hey folks, sorry to bother you all but I'm in a predicament. I needed a new power supply for my new system, so I opted for the the Sparkle Power 300 Watt PS from www.newegg.com. I wanted to keep my case, but when I got the PS it didn't fit the case. Apparenetly the power supply is ATX-E (extended). ARGHH. Well, I sent this thing back today (the same day I got it). Can anyone point me to an AMD approved power supply for 1Ghz Ahtlon which is ATX and can fit a gateway Mid-Tower? I called Gateway tech support, and they said the new PS just has to be ATX compatable.
P.S. The ATX-E didn't "fit" because instead of a screw hole in each of the 4 corners on the back, there was 4 screw hole in a funky shape. Ex:
