Best Remote Access Software these days? One that also works with a Tablet?

Hey Folks,

I have 2 situations upcoming that we are going to need remote access for.

1. My wife is wanting more and more a way to remote access her mom's computer. Her mom is one of the many computer illiterates that gets a virus every month from clicking porn and viagra emails or something... how people get them these days is beyond me - but regardless, she lives 5 states away and sometimes we just want to be able to take over her computer. Completely. And whenever we want without her permission (after we install it on her side first)

2. I'm going to start traveling for business a LOT more often. I'm going to find that I will want to start accessing my DropBox from my Tablet while I am traveling, however, I want to use my home computer to make downloads, which will then be placed on my Dropbox and accessed on my Tablet while traveling. Does that make sense? So in this case, I'm looking for a way to remote access off a tablet.

Remote Utilities. Free account. Has an Android and iPad version so you can remote in from your tablet of choice. A little clunky and sometimes requires a computer restart to work when it is acting up but generally works well.

how about the built in microsoft remote desktop that is in every version of windows? I can even access it with my iphone

There isn't competition at any level. Teamviewer. Nothing even comes remotely close. It is that good

She will have to install team viewer on her end. Once you establish a connection install Sandboxie for her web browser. Configure it to access bookmarks and the profile folder. This way she won't get a virus again. And if she gets something really bad, that could mess up her internet connection not to mention good forbid she get crypto locker.

Wow! Just noticed it's a damn month old post. 🙄
