best remedy for a head cold?

I'm pretty sure I caught a cold from someone yesterday when they had 150 of us in an auditorium.

Woke up with the back of my throat and sinuses hurting along with a headache.

Took some advil cold and sinus, any other recommendations?

The lliquids can't be stressed enough. You dehydrate easily when you are sick, and when you are dehydrated, the symptoms are much worse.
