Best (read: cheapest) video card for HTPC?

I'm building a HTPC (no video capturing or anything, just playback) and need a video card with s-video out. Which Nvidia/ATI card will give the best quality TV picture? I'm also trying to do this as cheaply as possible, so the cheaper the better.

get a 9600 pro for around 160 bucks.

Or go cheap and find an ol GF4200pro.

I second the Radeon 9000, if you are putting it into a HTPC then the 9000 is the best choice becaus it has a passive heat sink which makes for less noise. And the video out quality is very good.

Any of the lowend G Series Matrox cards. Best S-Video out quality available, under $100, and passive cooling.

maybe an OLD Radeon, not a 7000,9000 whatever but standard Radeon. They are used alot on HTPC
