Best ram to overclock Opteron 146

I have a Opteron 146 CAB2E with an Asus A8N-VM CSM motherboard and I need to purchase some ram. The FSB is limited to 240 on the asus motherboard and I will be buying another one that will overclock better in a few months (probably DFI).

I saw this on sale at newegg and was wondering if it was good. Lots of mixed reviews.

I am looking to spend between $100 and $150 all together on either 1gig or 2gig of ram.

Well I can say that I never had problems with Corsair but I also know that must 1GB sticks don't overlock to well..

get G.SKill they are very good for overclocking

These are on sale, I've got them in my rig and they do 270mhz with no problems

I second the G Skill. I have the same sticks and they do 270mhz with no problem either.

G.SKILL has been doing pretty well. And 159 for 2GB is an amazing deal.

My G.Skill didnt overclock so well so I run them on a 166 divider and tighter timings. Still good ram though, especially at that price.

Nifty, any other Gskill that are better? Or does everyone like the ones linked to?

Some like the ZX (PC3200) but I've read a lot of grumbles about poor overclocking so why take the risk when the HZ will do 250MHz at the very least
