Best RAM timings for my system?

Just wondering, I have a P4 2.53 with Corsair 3200 RAM and was wondering what the best RAM timings are for it to be running at? By default they are set to 2.5-3-3-8, what should they be at? A friend said always set to lowest but when i did that my comp had trouble booting.

So what should I have them at?

The lowest settings give the highest performance for your system. However, High performance is useless if it won't run stably.

They are the latencies for your RAM. In other words, the numbers represent the number of clock cycles that must pass before that operation can take place.

Setting the lowest options for the read and write latencies will provide the greatest benefit. Also make sure to set the interleave to 4-way for best performance.
