You mean a personal preference brand or a speed else have you looked for a QVL list from vendor?

Gigabyte got those. :)

You mean a list of all of the RAM the motherboard has been tested to support? That's a pretty big list.

I had 2 of them but one stopped working. I figured it's a low quality RAM that I would be better off replacing with a different brand.

Your RAM is Hynix... an OEM brand (I have some in both DDR2 and DDR3 in some of my machines.)

Any decent 1.5v DDR3 RAM, either 1333 or 1600, from a reasonable supplier will work well with your board. Just find whatever is on sale and run with it. Here is an example... G.Skill ...or 2 sticks of 2GB RAM.
