Geil Ultra-X

Kingston Hyper-X

Corsair XMS

The Kingston and Geil have slightly better timings but cost $38 per stick than the corsair, I heard timings don't matter too much on a64's unless you want to really overclock which I won't be doing to the memory.

Also which is a better upgrade

From 2x 6800GT's to 2x 6800 Ultras

or

from 1 Gig RAM to 2 Gigs RAM

Only reason I would consider ram is cause the Ultras might be harder on the CPU (Athlon 64 3500+)

Well what do you think?

That's $114 that is going toward no tangible performance increase, since you're not overclocking at all. Spend it on better graphcis or something if you must, but if you already have a 6800 GT, a good CPU, and a gig of PC3200, then you don't need to upgrade anything unless you're doing something that would benefit from 2 gigs of RAM.

PC3200 Value RAM. I'm running plain-jane Mushkin PC3200 in my system and it's running just fine @ 225FSB.
