Best Ram for AMD64 3200+

hi all,
im about 2 purchase1 gig of ram but am having trouble pciking wut to pair with my 3200+

My current ram is holding my overlocking back to 2.1 and nothing higher, i was wondering wut ram i should choose from this list here

specs:
amd64 3200+
chaintech znf3-150 mobo
radeon 9800 pro

also i wana keep the price under $550 if possible

Well, 2x512MB sticks of OCZ PC3700 Gold, Rev. 2 is what I would buy, but that site doesn't have it. That means that I would get this: link. It's rated to run at 2.5 CAS, even at 275mhz (550 DDR). That's not too shabby. Of course, memory timings don't account for much with an A64 system, since the memory controller is on-die, but it definitely doesn't hurt!

Dan I think ull get more of a performance increase by buying an X800 or 6800 to replace ur 9800, rather than spending 549 for only 100Mhz. My 2 cents anyways....

I agree he will be better off spendinbg that cash on a high end vid card, and strongly encourage him to set his ram to 166 and push for 2.4ghz with that 3200+. At2.4ghz that would put the ram@400DDR and he'd have a 3700+ system for the price of a 3200+ :light:

Get some cheap DDR500 like Kingmax or Adata which comes with a colored heatspreaders for $108 at newegg, and drop down your multiplyer and aim for 250+MHZ FSB.

i cant oc past 2.1, tried 3 different mobo's none can go past it without problems, im gunna get an x800 xt or 6800 ultra either way, so its either i upgrade my ram and get 2.4+ or upgrade my 3200+ to a 3400+
