Best RAM @ 2GB (2 x 1GB)

I am building up a system with an ASRock 939SLI32-eSATA2, and an AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800. What is the best deal on RAM? I'm looking to OC it to 2.4 GHz at most.

Any good branded memory will be perfectly fine. Even Kingston or Corsair Value will allow you that overclock.

You could get 2Gigs of something like OCZ running at 2-3-2-6 for like $195-210. That's a good deal.

for the rebate price of $142, IMO. I wanted 2GB in a general sort of way and was starting to go through my usual hyperintensive research and comparison phase prior to a PC part purchase when I saw this at the Egg and just figured, it's 2GB (what I want) of OCZ (very well supported and reliable) low-latency RAM. Why not?

please be aware that OCZ and asrock have some minor troubles namely that you more than likely will have to run your memory at 2T command rate.

read through these and you will see that there are some issues with the board but for the price it is a good alternative if you do not have the money to buy better motherboard
