Best Radiohead Performance.....ever

WOW...after a day of music under the 110 degree sun in the deserts of california, Radiohead came on and made people realize the difference between them and any other band that would play the entire weekend.

The only words I could use to describe it was "ridiculus"

here was the set list-

There There
2+2=5
Lucky
Myxamatosis
My Iron Lung
Exit Music (for a film)
The Gloaming
Karma Police
Sail to the Moon
I Might Be Wrong
Sit Down, Stand Up
No Surprises
National Anthem
Paranoid Android
Idioteque
Street Spirit (fade out)

encores:
You and Whose Army?
Planet Telex
Creep
Everything In Its Right Place

Hehe...I didn't see that one coming. 😛

I caught them at the Stone Mountain, GA show a few years ago and loved it. Great live band.

What made them so special?

there is no way to describe it...I went with some huge radiohead fans and I am a casual listener of them...after that performance, I am a huge fan...the energy, the sounds, everything....wow...

my friend has seen them a huge amounts of times in the US and England and is convinced this is the best show he has seen

I saw them last august when they came to Alpine Valley in wisconsin. That was absolutely the best concert I've ever been to. Looks like they're sticking with their reputation. Words couldn't describe how i felt after that concert ended. I just sat down after they went off for about a half an hour and just tried to catch my breathe. It was sooo cool. Glad you had a good time.

COACHELLA was the best!!
so much bands and groups it was awesome..
i was lucky enough to go thru both days .. man it was great!
Radiohead was dope and so were the Pixies.. and the Cure rocked the house yesterday.. man but i missed a chance to see paul van dyek.. o well .. next year for sure..

damnit! i was hoping they wouldn't play because of thom being sick the day before, i could have gone... 🙁 oh well.

I saw them in Atlanta last October. Even though it was raining most of the night it was still worth it. They kicked ass.

I DISAGREE!!!

It was a great concert, but the venue sucks. First off, the alpine valley website is notorious for having the wrong directions. So notorious that if you follow the directions, you wind up in illinois, and the first gas station across the border has a big sign that tells you how to get there, and sometimes the guy has handouts.

The other thing is, they didn't have adequate access to the seats, and the one route you could actually use without climbing on the heads of 5000 people was so "obscure" that the guards didn't know it.

The weird thing about radiohead for me was that my favorite songs sounded just ok but the ones I don't like sounded really great. Then when I listened to them on the CDs again they were still not great.

Were you sitting in the lawn or in the pavillion? I agree its certainly not an extraordinary venue but the sound from where i was sitting was pretty nice. The bass hit hard. Overall the sound was tight.

Anyone heard their b-side Gagging Order? (came out last year I think). Gorgeous song, just Thom and his acoustic guitar. Anyway, just wanted to throw that out there

EDIT: found a link to the mp3 here Text

I was wondering if anyone from ATOT was there!

radiohead are great but they can't hang with sigur ros for live intensity. other great live bands: tool, bjork, smashing pumpkins.
