Best quad (4x) monitor support card?

I need to build a display rig to support four 1080p monitors (it would be nice to have four of the same connectors on the video card if possible, but all the monitors will be HDMI in). I need to be able to run it as both a single 4k setup, and as 4 separate desktop areas. I will be running Windows 7 64-bit. It will be used to display a single 4k movie, and 4 instances of 1080p movies (probably using VLC). I am not sure if this is common of all modern cards these days or if driver support is tricky so any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Either one of those and a bunch of mDP to HDMI adapters
W600 has the advantage of two more ports and maybe Eyefinity?

Nothing as elaborate and expensive as those above are required.
A single 7xx or later nvidia consumer card will do that just fine! Even the lowly 750Ti maxwell chip!

A lot of the 750ti only support three monitors and I couldn't find any that have 4 of the same connectors on the video card. Some have 3 digital + VGA. (The Gigabyte models have 2xDVI + 2xHDMI or 2xHDMI + 1xDP + 1xDVI, there is also a Zotac model with the same as this)

This Visiontech card does 6x mini DP and they have some cards that do 4xDVI if having all the connections uniform is important.
The Powercolor card also supports 6x mini DP.

That is the only card I could find that does 4xHDMI + a mini DP. Pretty pricey, for a 7750, but it's a niche I suppose.

Bit cheap of some manufacturers, however the 1 i linked supports 4!

Not 3840*2160 AFAIK (although I might be wrong because you can do 5760*2160 with cards that do eyefinity6).

It will do 4 monitor eyefinity in 2x2

Most definitely will do 3840x2160.

So the VisionTek 900669, and VisionTek 900614 look like they might be the best bet as they support eyefinity? Any reason why crossfire or SLI will make this easier (or more likely more of a pain).

I believe you are thinking about 3d, we are discussing 2d, and the card linked will display the 4 screens as 1 if required at 4k

The card you linked will only support 3 displays at a time. AMD only do 3 unless its the 6 output eyefinty card in 7xxx series
