I finally found the power cord to my PSP after about a year. I'm still using the 1.5 original firmware. What the latest and greatest custom firmware? I'm mainly interested in running my emulations. PS1 isos, and dvd converted movies on my memory card.

The M33 firmwares are the latest, but personally I'm still using 3.40OE. I trust DA's history and experience to provide a more stable, bug free cfw than the new guys, even if it may contain fewer features.

I'm waiting for the M33 cfw's to mature, I figure by the time I actually need to upgrade they'll have a better handle on things, and I'll feel more comfortable using it. For now 3.40OE does everything I need it to.

Thanks for the link! I'll give it a shot after I read that long thread.

I'm in the same boat. I can play all of my Playstation games with 3.40OE, so I have no reason to upgrade yet.

Wow. Very nice upgrade. So many new features to play with. Homebrew community has made great strides in emulation speed and compatibility. SNES almost run perfect now. I'm happy. Thank you.

He just about summarized what I thought.
