Best project for Dual processors?

Hey Anandtech Gang,

New poster here and I was wanting some input from the pro's (yes, you people). I am inheriting 2 dual processor units. The first unit will be a 166 x 2 Pentium MMX system, the other is a dual 333 Pentium 2. I know SETI doesn't see dual configs like this, so I was wanting to know what others might benefit from these units and their idle time/dedicated time? I have 3 other units (single processors) running RC5 at a combinded 5.7Mkeys/sec., but only have dialup connectivity for two of them (the other I flush via folder copying and run off main system to update), so I'm not sure these Windows units will be help with RC5 unless I can have one setup for Proxy units (gateway for the other computers to get their work from.). Thanks in advance! P.S. I'm a Mac user, so I'm now sure what connectivity options I have for these machines to my other ones to make this easy.

Actually, SETI can work well with dual processors. Get the Seti@home CLI (command line interface) version and then download SETI Driver. SETI Driver caches work units and you can set it to multiple work units at one time. That way you can use both processors to their fullest😀

To my knowledge the dnet client is best optimized to handle multiple processors, but it's whatever floats your boat.
