best program to measure proc/mem performance?

What is the "best" most widely compared benchmarking tool for measuring performance gains from overclocking and memory tweaking?

Are you talking synthetic or real world, 'cuz they are two very different beasts.

The programs you mentioned along with Sandra are the more popular synthetic benchies. 3DMark2001 is also a good one, assuming a constant GPU.

Real world benchies are Photoshop and of course gaming.

I'm sure I missed some, anyone else?

Probably just synthetic. Anything that would reliably test the perf. impact if I set the memory timings to "X" instead of at "Y" or can overclock that little bit extra but have to loosen a memory timing to do so. Also to compare my setup and score to others to see if I'm in the general ballpark or need to try something different based on their settings/scores.
