Best Program to Get Rid of Spam E-mail

On any given day, I receive around 30-40 messages, 99% of which is junk. It really has begun to be a bother. Most of the spam is from Korean e-mail addresses and is in Korean. I have around 100+ e-mail filter settings in Outlook Express, but tons of mail still gets passed these filters. Is there any program that can get rid of the spam for me? Any recommendations? Should I just get a new e-mail address and start anew?

Thanks!

Setup a filter that says unless your email address is in the "To" line of the email, delete it. It will stop all the Bcc ones. Mail washer is a program that will stop them from getting to the client and bounce them back if you tell it to. Bouncing them won't stop anything but at least they don't get to outlook. I also have filters setup to look for key words that are in most spams. "removed" and "morgage" stop tons of them.

Hi Guys
Hope you don't mind me jumping in here with you 🙂 for the last 3/4 days I have been using Mail washer also and for me it simply does not work.

However, it sure does seen to be effective for most people. So I am now ready to purchase a spam killer program since this spam stuff is getting way out of hand now.

Heres a link for a program that I am probably gonna get today.

The latest version of MailWasher ( mailwasher ) works great. It will not only let you delete Spam from your POP3 server before download, it will also bounce it back to the sender. It then creates automatic blacklists. You can set up "friends" lists as well. To get the best out of it, it should be registered, and it is well worth the $20.
