What program is best/easiest for cropping or downconverting an mp3?
I have a Motorola V265 phone and learned that if I do so, I can simply change the extension from .mp3 to .mid, e-mail it to myself via the Verizon picture service, and voila I have a mp3 ringtone. I tested this with a song sample from walmart.com and it actually worked!
I'd like to take some of my own mp3s that I ripped at high quality/full length and crop out say a 30 second portion. I use Windows Media Player 10 and Nero 6.6.0.3, but I didn't notice that capability in those programs. Any recommendations would be much appreciated.
