Best prog to backup DVD using 2 discs?

There are a couple movies that I'd prefer not cutting anything out of, and I'm willing to use 2 discs to do it (not like i really have a choice). What's the best program out there to do that? Can DVD shrink or DVD Decrypter do that? I tried using clonedvd but it was very sketchy and I ran into a lot of errors before even attempting to burn.

I am not sure if DVD Decrypter or DVD Shrink can do exactly what you want, but there's probably a guide over at Doom9.org

I have used DVD Shrink and I just choose no compression and then edit to choose reauthor and use the start/end to set each disc manually. Works easily and totally free.

yeah but I want to make a perfect copy, retain all menu's/extras, etc. Reauthoring doesn't allow menu's, or does it?

no it doesn't...it require dvdstripper, titleblanker, menuedit, etc....hardcore stuff.

dvdfab puts menu on 1st dvd with the main movie split between both dvds...retaining 100% video.

ah, thank you mrbass. Only thing I hate about this is that it takes so long to do all this stuff, but I guess time is the price one pays for quality.

hm, how awkward. I followed the instructions, but Disk1 was 7.4 gigs and Disk2 was 350mb. Any idea what happened?

well dvdfab can't do episodic discs.....for that you'd have to try the commercial version dvdfab.com....that's my guess.

ah, well this is The Hunt For Red October, so I dont think the problem is episodes

I'm just going to use dvdshrink and compress it to around 76%... too much hassle doing it some other way, and the only thing I really wanted was the menu's
