Best Printer for printing graphics?

What would you say is the best printer for printing graphics (8.5x11) be? I currently have a Canon MG6220, and a Canon Pro-100. While the MG6220 does decent, the Canon Pro-100 prints excellent as far as sharpness, but authentic Canon ink just plain sucks. I went with some generic ink for it as well and its not much better. Im not loyal to Canon. What are your suggestions? Need to print pretty high quality graphics. Thanks

Photos, or lines and charts? If not photos, the bang/buck of a used HP workgroup printer, like a 2600N, is going to be hard to beat, IMO. For photos: Staples, Walmart, et al 🙂.

These work pretty good.

If they don't meet your standards, this one might.

On a more serious note, for non-photos, laser printers are better because the wet ink bleeds/blurs more. (For photos, you're better off taking the stack to Costco or Walgreens or something.)

Personally, I'm not a fan of HP color laserjets; they never seem to get the blues right. Xerox is good, but expensive. My Brother C.L. runs a bit dark. For a budget color laser, I'd probably steer you towards a Samsung or Canon, although regardless of what you do, you'll need a color calibration kit for accurate color. (They cost more than some printers.)
