Best printer for ~~150

Hi everyone,
I wanted a printer that will be mainly use for printing photos, I also wanted to occasionally scan, and copy stuff too (but not too important). I was looking at the LexMark (not sure if the spelling is right) all purpose, which is on sale right now for $99. Sorry I am not at my home computer now, so I can't provide the link. Do you anandtech specialists have any ideas to where I can start? I just want to spend around ~~150 ok? Thanks

To keep the suspense, I'm not going to tell you in advance what it is.

But for $169 after rebate (and free shipping here) this one can't be beat as a photo printer.

PS- this price is better than anything that comes up on pricewatch.

Canon s750, 139 (at your local staples)-20 coupon-30 rebate=89 for a very good printer.

Or epson c82..also very good, as is the hp 5550. Of course out of all these if you go with manufacturer inks, the canons gonna be the cheapest. Lexmark catridges are ricockulous.

Get dedicated scanner, it will be more versatile and redundant...less to go wrong. Otherwise, for multifunction (but no fax) get canon f60...or clearanced f30 if you can find it. Uses same independent catridge system as the canon printers. If you like HP and want to do the refill bit, the 2110, or discountinued 750...or for legal sized the d135s..which also faxes but no double sided outta the box like the 145.

CANON S750 by far. i850 if you want to pay a little over 150 and have a little sharper photos. They are superb and cheap to run.
